If you're wondering who this is, you're just gonna to have to continue reading! We'll keep it a little secret for now.

Quick question.. how many people on the team have gone down for the count in the last 48 hours because of a stomach bug (P.S. it's more than you think) #whofell

We started our day with donuts #notriley! Today we ran our last clinic on a concrete gym. Our first session was with a group of children who were 8 and 9 years old. They were so cute and full of joy. The second group was a little older, around 10-12 years old. We all played games like steal the bacon and head-catch. Our very own Cyan gave her testimony at the end of the clinic. We love to hear our players share how God has moved in their lives. It is so encouraging to hear our team members get up and share a personal story. The school was so gracious and presented us with a box full of nectarines OR peaches (BIG DEBATE) (comment below for what you think they are). We came back to the villa with a much needed spaghetti lunch waiting for us. Our hosts are so wonderful and always have a meal waiting for us when we get back from the clinics.

After lunch a few of the players hopped on the bus and went to a Costa Rican grocery store called Mas x Menos. We loaded up on some Costa Rica coffee as well as some nice American snacks. As soon as we got back to the villa it was time to head out for our final game in Costa Rica.

This was our fourth game in five days. At this point we were all pretty exhausted and low on subs. It was a hard fought match with good competition at a beautiful stadium. Even though not everybody was there, we were still having a ton of fun playing the game we love. When the match was over we were able to give our opponents Covenant jerseys for them to remember playing us. After our match, we came back to the villa for a fantastic meal where we were able to celebrate our very own Abby Gienapp's 21st birthday with cake and ice cream which was gifted by Salvo and Verónica. Since it is our last night here in the villa, we were able to sign a soccer ball and give away a Covenant Lady Scots t-shirt to Josué and Sofía who have quickly become part of our family :)

We knew you were wondering, so we thought we'd also share that our First Annual Spelling Bee has been postponed. We're all very sad that this had to happen, but it was necessary due to the stomach bug. We'll make sure to keep you updated as the situation progresses.

Finally, the answers to the questions we know y'all have been waiting for: Number of people out for the count aka #whofell : 6, but we are all on the mend

Signing out for the first (and last) time

Riles, MK, and Layney
